My review:
Brenda and Blake meet at a friend's wedding after a six year old break-up. Although Brenda is reluctant to spend time with Blake, he convinces her to spend the day with him. What appears at first to be a simple reuniting story, turns into so much more. Old misunderstandings surface and have to be dealt with.
This is a story about forgiving--a great theme for Christmas, but enjoyable at any time of year. Three cheers to Marilyn Conner Miles.

Mistletoe in the City by Amber Daulton
My Review:
Amber Daulton does it again with a
Christmas romance focused on two twenty-somethings who end up in the same apartment
building. Krista applies for an apartment, and then realizes the hot boy she
quietly watched in high school is the maintenance man. Derek confesses he should
have asked her out in high school and wants to prove to her that he can be a
loyal boyfriend. This story is filled
with all the complications of young love—jealousy, misunderstandings, and hot
sex.
